Blake Snyder joined the family business at age 8 working as a voice talent for his father, Emmy-award winning TV producer, Ken Snyder (Roger Ramjet, Big Blue Marble). Blake graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in English where he was Editor of The Georgetown Voice. His first job out of college was as an NBC Page. He then became a Production Assistant for the Aaron Ruben-created sit-com Teachers Only starring Lynn Redgrave. Blake began writing for the Disney TV series Kids Incorporated, penning thirteen episodes before turning to writing spec screenplays full time in 1988. Since then he has sold and optioned many original specs and pitches to the major studios, including two million-dollar bidding war sales (one to Steven Spielberg), and had two films produced. Nuclear Family, Third Grade and Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot sold to Universal. Poker Night, Drips, Blank Check, and Herbie Comes Home sold to Disney. How I Joined The CIA and Big, Ugly Baby! sold to Fox Family TV, and Alienators to Total Film Group. Blake lives in Beverly Hills, California. Email: Blake Snyder |
