To maintain a society of talented writers who share a positive, professional attitude and a commitment to success: to provide a forum for these writers to bring their stories to the attention of the filmmaking community.

Member Guidelines

Expectations of Members

Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner when communicating with agents, producers, executives, directors and others in the film industry. It should be remembered that the behaviour of each individual reflects upon us all.

Members are expected to promote at least one new screenplay per year.

Members are expected to contribute to the group in one or more of the following ways:

1) Web page design and/or graphic design
2) Promotion
3) Providing contacts and connections
4) Reviewing the scripts of other members


Requirements for Screenplays

Members are welcome to promote MOW's, TV series scripts, stage & radio plays, novels, novellas, and short stories. Reviews: Prior to being promoted, each screenplay must receive feedback through a review process.


Promotional Web Pages

Individual promotional web pages must have a professional appearance. Visitors must not be subjected to pop-up windows or large or prominent advertising banners.


New Members Selection Process

Nominations for new members will not be taken before 2012. A clear majority "yes" vote is required before a nominee is invited to join the group.
