Lisa has just completed
a new short film, Prodigy, about a little girl's flights of imagination
at a violin lesson. She wrote and co-directed
THE TEACHER, an official selection of the 2010 Buffalo
Niagara Film Festival and the SAG Short Film Showcase. She's
also co-producer
of GIRLS' NIGHT OUT, a narrative feature selected to screen in
the New Filmmakers Series at Anthology Film Archives in New York City
in 2010. Lisa's feature screenplays
CHANGE and KING OF NOTHING placed as quarterfinalist and
semifinalist, respectively, in the Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship.
ATLANTIS was a finalist in the Austin Film Festival. WAKING
BEAUTY (teleplay for the HBO Original Series DEADWOOD) was a semifinalist
in the Disney Writing Fellowship Program. She has optioned three of
her screenplays. Lisa is a professor
at Tompkins Cortland Community College in New York where she teaches
