A Robert Redford lookalike (from the neck down), Kent is a veteran Detroit
copywriter who's made outrageous product claims for a couple of the biggies
-- Young & Rubicam (Lincoln-Mercury) and BBDO (Dodge). Prior to advertising,
Kent worked as a freelance comedy writer, producing material for comedians,
cartoonists, greeting card companies, and radio stations. His clients
included such notables as Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, Phyllis Diller, cartoonist
Bob Thaves ("Frank and Ernest"), and American Greetings.
In writing his screenplays, Kent focuses all his creative energies on a
single artistic goal: High six against low seven.
