Marta, born in Bogotá Colombia, was raised in New York and New Orleans.
She's been a professional photographer for films such as Zandalee, starring Nicholas Cage and Erika Anderson, and This Gun For Hire, starring Robert Wagner.
Marta has also done graphic art for 24, starring Keifer Sutherland, among others.
As a screenwriter, Marta was a semifinalist in the 2001 Nicholl and Chesterfield competitions with her Political Drama,
Daniel. Her supernatural thriller,
Psychic Skin earned her the Paul Verhoeven Scholarship to the Los Angeles Film School.
With her partners, director and co-writer Tom Murphy, and producer Tianna Langham, Marta is currently involved in an intensive 6-month Film Development Program featuring hands-on training by industry progressionals.
Previously, Marta was selected as a participant in the WGA Writers Training Program, spending six-weeks with the writers of Star Trek Voyager's last season.
