Private Investigator Philomena (Phil) Byrnes runs the family detective agency now that her husband, Peter, has been murdered. Helping her is their assistant, Buzzy (M.A.S. Buzzelli) and Seattle Police Detective Jim Coleman.

She's a confident, cerebral and enticing character that likens to Angela Lansbury's character "Jessica" on "Murder She Wrote" but with a younger audience.
